Klein Thomas Lee & Fresard is pleased to announce that Cleo Scott has joined the firm’s Richmond office as an associate. Prior to joining the firm, Cleo served as a law clerk to Chief Justice Cleo E. Powell of the Supreme Court of Virginia from 2025 to 2026. She also clerked for Judges Robert B. Rigney, Jamilah D. LeCruise, and Jennifer L. Fuschetti of Norfolk Circuit Court from 2024 to 2025.
Cleo earned her J.D. with an Intellectual Property Certificate of Distinction from the University of Richmond School of Law, where she serves as Technical Editor of the Richmond Journal of Law & Technology.
Outside of the office, she enjoys traveling, spending time with her two cats, and indulging in a good true-crime story.
