Sarah started her career teaching English in South Korea. After returning to the United States, she worked as a paralegal for several years before starting law school at St. Louis University School of Law with three kids under age five. She earned her J.D. there magna cum laude in the top 2% of her class.
Following law school, Sarah served as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Rodney W. Sippel of the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Missouri and practiced complex civil litigation for several years at Thompson Coburn, LLP. She then spent more than a decade working in immigration law, keeping families together and helping migrants get humanitarian relief, before joining Klein Thomas Lee & Fresard as Counsel in the Class Action practice group.
Sarah is a beekeeper and gardener. She travels and enjoys learning about different cultures, hiking, slowly climbing volcanoes (really, think turtle speed), and exploring new places. When it’s not too hot, she also enjoys jogging. She loves chiles rellenos and good coffee.
