Claire Dietrich focuses on national product liability litigation for various corporate clients, including some of the nation's largest automotive manufacturers. Whether dealing with complex product defect cases, premises liability, warranty matters or large scale discovery projects, Claire is entrusted with every aspect of a case from filing to trial and resolution.
Since beginning her career with the firm as a summer law clerk, Claire has been immersed in automotive product liability litigation throughout California and beyond. She has defended the design and manufacture of motor vehicles in alleged wrongful death and catastrophic injury cases relating to rollover, airbag, unintended acceleration and fire. Claire is also well-versed with federal regulations and has managed projects to help her clients obtain compliance with various safety standards and regulations.
Claire represents many of these same automotive manufacturers in discovery and warranty litigation. Serving on the national discovery team for an automotive manufacturer, Claire skillfully maneuvers through aggressive plaintiff tactics to manage large volumes of document review and production. Additionally, Claire has a firm grasp on state and federal laws surrounding warranty litigation having handled many Lemon Law and breach of warranty matters on behalf of her clients.
While earning her J.D. from the University of San Diego, Claire clerked at the California Attorney General's office where she argued cases in front of the California Court of Appeal.
